Relative Positions of Two Lines in the Plane

Lines, rays, and segments are the basis of all geometry. The notations for each are very important for you to learn at all times.
Use ( ) to show that the series of points is a line that is never-ending from either side.
Use [ ] to show that the series of points is a line segment/ segment that has two end points and can be measured.
Use [ ) or ( ] to show the series of points is a ray that has one end point only.
IMPORTANT:
Through two specific points only one line can pass.
